Our scholarship program connects the media with marine experts in the region, provides journalists with background information on marine issues in the Asia Pacific, and offers hands-on exploration of the beautiful Pacific Ocean environment. SeaWeb coordinates briefings and trainings designed to help journalists understand the issues currently impacting our world ocean and the Asia Pacific region. Our efforts include field trips to provide first-hand experiences with marine research, presentations by the top ocean experts in the country, and extensive resource materials to help the media write ocean stories.
