Sustainability Statement

In line with our mission and values, SeaWeb is committed to maximizing benefits to ocean conservation while enhancing the sustainability of our operations. To achieve this, we are implementing an ongoing program of sustainable improvement through an internal action plan with the following environmental and ethical objectives:

• Minimize energy and water use from our operations.
• Follow the principles of Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle in managing resource use and waste.
• Purchase environmentally friendly products and services from socially responsible suppliers.
• Promote sustainable transport options, ensuring that all journeys are necessary.
• Promote individual environmental responsibility to meet collective goals.

SeaWeb's sustainability objectives will not compromise our ability to advance ocean conservation internationally. Further, we hope this internal responsibility will not only improve our own sustainability performance but also provide us with experiences to help encourage external associates to adopt best practices more widely.

SeaWeb seeks to continually improve our sustainability performance, updating our Operational Sustainability Statement and action plan on an annual basis. Also, we recognize that local solutions appropriate to each SeaWeb office are necessary in accordance with local facilities and national level policies.
